SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13 | 4 p.m.
$40 PER PERSON
Join John Latimer, one of the region's best and most beloved phenologists, on an hour and a half nature hike through Long Lake, including our sphagnum bog. After this invigorating and educational exploration, enjoy comradery with other nature lovers (and maybe a drink or two) before sitting down for a classic Minnesota fall feast...fried walleye with locally harvested wild rice. There will be salad, bread, and dessert, too, but let's be honest - this is all about the walleye and wild rice.
ALL PROCEEDS GO TOWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS SO STUDENTS FROM AROUND THE STATE CAN ATTEND NATURE SCHOOL AT LONG LAKE.
